About Our Vaccinations & Vets Costs

Once an animal comes under the care of Saving Sri Lanka Strays, we ensure that all our animals are neutered, wormed, and receive flea / tick treatment for the rest of their lives.

Usually the animal has come into our care because it was sick, injured, in danger or often a combination of all three.

We then provide whatever veterinary treatment is necessary and where possible we try to place the animal to keep it safe.

If we returned the animal to the streets it would only be a matter of time before sickness or injury would happen again.

Committing life long care means we quickly run out of funds for more emergency cases. Our aim is to seek new ways of generating sustainable funding so we can help more animals.

  • One rabies vaccination: £5
  • One parvovirus vaccination: £7
