Rachel is responsible for the day to day management of the charity – from social media, accounts, fundraising and co-ordination of all volunteers in the UK.
She also oversees the direct work undertaken in Sri Lanka, liaising with Amila to safeguard the animals under the charity’s care.
We work in conjunction with Amila from Amila’s Mission.
Amila is a vegan and dedicated animal lover from Sri Lanka.
He is able to oversee all of our work to ensure the animals we sponsor and support get the correct care they require.
Amila personally performs regular checks on all the animals. Additionally, he has been able to identify vets that have a higher standard of knowledge and clean facilities to use.
He has organised and overseen all our free clinics, playing a vital role in educating the local people on animal welfare matters and encouraging spaying/neutering.
Chamila is a local animal lover who has rescued 6 dogs and 10 cats.
She co-ordinates the feeding and neutering of local strays, whilst overseeing the feeding rounds in Maggona town.
We fund all her work.
Once or twice a month, between 30 and 50 items are auctioned off by our kind volunteers to raise vital funds for the charity.
