About Mange
Mange is caused by a poor immune system that results from internal parasites.
Mange is dangerous as it can result in fur loss that exposes the skin to extreme sunlight. The skin becomes thickened, sore and can often lead to skin cancer or tumours.
The Treatments
The most effective treatment for mange is Advocate because it treats the underlying cause.
Advocate is a spot-on treatment and many strays are fearful due to the abuse they receive from local people who view them as vermin.
We treat these fearful dogs with Bravecto, which is in treat form so can be given with food . Sadly, it’s not quite as effective long-term as Advocate.

Due to licensing laws, Advocate is not available in Sri Lanka, so we have to import it from Australia.
